Vera Stassen is a product designer based in Berlin. She embarks on a researching quest, dealing with themes such as environment, material, nature and human senses. Although, her on-going fascination with ceramic and glass dominates her work, with her background as goldsmith and the studies in product design she deals with various materials and ideas in scientific, artistic and practice-oriented way.

After studying product design at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld and at the Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, she finished her master degree at the weissensee school of art and design Berlin. She has been working for Studio Mark Braun and now works for Studio Hanne Willmann in Berlin as product designer.
